Trail begins at the junction of Maybrick Rd and Moorland Rd
 
Chapter one

Private Home

Number 16 Moorland Road is now a private home, however it used to be a shopkeepers and a greengrocers where people could buy fruit and vegetables for their meals.
Chapter two

17 Residential Home

Welcome to Number 17 Moorland road. It has been a family home for nearly 125 years. The only thing it has been, that is not a family home, is a carpenter. This was in 1900.
Chapter three

18 Private Home

In 1900, Number 18 was named Drapers. Now as you can see this building has changed purpose a few times over the years, it hasn't always been a residential home. It's been an Accountant or an Estate Agents.
Continue along the pavement.
 
Chapter four

19 Private home

Welcome to Moorland Road,Number 19.Back 1970 it was a library and now it is a private home.Although,there is now a library next door where people can borrow different kinds of books.It has been a variety of different buildings.

in 1920 it was a Wood Machinist
in 1930 it was an Accountant
in 1940 it was N/A
in 1950 it was Co-operative Hall
in 1960 it was Co-operative Hall
in 1970 it was a Library
in 2018 it is a Private Home
Cross Moorland Road to the opposite pavement and begin to walk back on the other side.
 
Chapter five

20 Private Home

Number 20 Moorland Road has had many uses across the years. From the start it was a baker, it has also been a hairdressers for a long time but now it is just a private home that we have seen a lot.

Private Home

Number 21 Moorland Road is now a private home ,in fact it must be a very nice place to live because all you need to do is go downstairs and your on Moorland Road! Of course before you would be able to get what you wanted because it was a newsagent but it has changed a lot over the years.

Chapter seven

News For You

This is number 22 Moorland Road,News For You news agent.They had been a bakery for quite a while up until now.It has 9 uses through out the years.Jessie recommends the chocolate feast ice cream.
Cross Crandale Road and then continue along the pavement.
 
Chapter eight

23 Lloyds bank

for 30 years number 23 was a dairy seller from 1920 to 1950 but after it was a blacksmith,cycle agent and now Lloyds bank.in the 1960 s there was a residential home there.
Cross over Crandle Rd to continue along Moorland Rd pavement.
 
Chapter nine

Livingstone Hotel

For 50+ years Livingstone Hotel was a post office. At one point,(1950) the post office was shut down and turned into Livingstone Hotel,Livingstone Hotel was two different buildings but now they are the same building.
Chapter ten

26 Cheong Sing Take-Away

People love to get the tasty Take-way.In 1920-1950 it the amazing Hairdressers, it was in business for a 30 whopping years.

Chapter eleven

27 Banable Butchers

Number 27 has been Butchers since 1900.In 1893, the shop used to be a police station, over the years this shop is now the only butchers left this is because more and more people used sainsbury's instead of the butchers.However, there used to be lots of butchers. Finnley's Grandad has been working there for 32 years
Chapter twelve

28 Liane Hanks lettings

Welcome to no.28 Moorland Road. For quite a few years, Liane Hanks lettings has been a post office and that is probably why there is a post box outside the shop.But it also had other uses throughout the years e.g. engineer,fishmonger,printer and confectioner.
Chapter thirteen

29 British Red Cross Charity shop

Welcome to number 29 Moorland Road . It started off as a Butcher it was there for 20 years and is now a British Red Cross Charity Shop
